Spontaneous overnight guests always sends everybody into a tizzy. Being prepared ahead of time is the best way to host an overnight guest. I’m sharing with you today a glimpse into my guest room and all of the amenities I provide. Everybody loves staying in a plush hotel with robes, wifi and snacks, so make your house guests feel the same way. I compacted a list into all the things I wish I had when away from home that will be perfect addition to your guest room.

When we moved into our new home one of my first projects was tackling the guest room. My husband always has friends traveling through so I needed to get this done quickly. I have heard from many guests that they love having the extra goodies in their room and also having the WIFI information! No matter who you’re staying with you never want to bother the host with the little details so thats why its good to think ahead for your guests.
I started by adding extra toiletries for the forgetful or spontaneous house guest and it always comes in handy. My family is notorious for losing phone chargers when traveling so thats why I leave one for my guest to use. When I decorated the room I wanted it be classy but not too girly. I knew there would be guys sleeping over so I wanted to accommodate a unisex style. Comfort was my number one priority so adding extra blankets and plush pillows really makes them feel right at home.
